When we go to market, our learning objectives remain. We want to maintain a connection with our users even though it appears that our work is done. Times change, workflows change, needs change. We need to make sure that the value we are providing to our users and customers at large continues to have value.

We need to revisit user values, the competitive landscape and our roadmaps to ensure we are fresh and building the best solutions as possible.

Working closely with customer-facing teams such as Sales, Marketing and Training will help you to keep this connection. I have established quarterly team OKRs and reviews to ensure this communication is in place. By reviewing and sharing user personas, customer profiles and industry reports on a regular basis, you ensure that your impact won't go stale and that your roadmap and vision is competitive and fresh.
